Analysis Overview
Analysis Overview
WEMIX is the native asset of WEMIX3.0, Wemade's Layer 1 blockchain and gaming ecosystem. As of July 8, 2026, the official WEMIX site shows about 324K WEMIX PLAY users, while CoinGecko shows roughly 500M circulating WEMIX and a market cap near $141M. The recovery story improved on July 7, 2026, when Kraken opened WEMIX trading, following Bitkub in Thailand and Coins.ph in the Philippines. The main overhang is still the February 2025 Play Bridge breach, where more than 8.65M WEMIX were withdrawn, and the June 2025 Korean exchange delistings that followed. WEMIX also has a GAKS stablecoin track with Chainlink Labs, Chainalysis, CertiK, and SentBe.
Investment Thesis
The WEMIX thesis is a recovery trade around a real gaming operator rather than a pure narrative token. Wemade gives the chain game supply, WEMIX PLAY gives it distribution, and Kraken's July 2026 listing adds a higher-quality global venue after Bitkub and Coins.ph rebuilt regional access. The supply picture is less hostile than many small caps, with about 497M to 500M circulating against a 590M maximum supply, and the Phase 2 buyback target remains 20M WEMIX. The problem is trust. Korean exchanges removed WEMIX after the 2025 Play Bridge incident, and volume is still thin versus larger gaming chains. The GAKS stablecoin alliance can broaden utility beyond games, but investors need proof of sustained trading depth, security discipline, and live demand from WEMIX PLAY.
